Modular railway model of an industrial area in Arezzo in 1:87 scale
Posted by TOMMASO VENTURATO

In this article I present the modular model in H0 1:87 scale that I made on commission for a client from Arezzo.

The model is made of 14 modules with standard measurements:
Length 180 cm
Width 60 cm
Height of module coast 10 cm
Ground clearance 115 cm
Armament used Peco cod. 100
Digital electrical system with full manual control
The industrial area branches off from the main layout of the Arezzo model railway group via a switch that leads to the industrial junction.
The industrial connection begins with a large warehouse made of forex to store rolls of sheet metal and various semi-finished metal products.
Below are some pictures.

We see the module starting to take shape with the landscape and the tracks drowned in the asphalt.

With great calm and precision I prepare the cut wooden strips that will make up the concrete canopy wall.

The concrete wall begins to take shape.

We're also seeing the expansion of the warehouse for storing semi-finished metal products. It's made of Forex and features a custom "heavy haul" decal.

Continuing along the ring road you will find a renovated and Italianised Walthers logistics shed.

The large intermodal area measures approximately 8 square meters and is equipped with over 300 containers.

The shunting is entrusted to the Esu V60 diesel locomotive, aged by TA Models.

We reach the final section of the modules, the area with the silos for feed and grain. Rail transport has been implemented in recent years for the transportation of feed and grain.
