Can the craftsman mass-produce his products?
Posted by TOMMASO VENTURATO

One of my strengths is organizing production in small series, manageable batches of 10-20 pieces. One of the key factors in achieving good results is organizing the work ahead of time.
Recently, with the advent of 3D printers, which have become increasingly accessible to everyone, the speed and method of producing models has changed dramatically. Since I have 24 hours a day, I set myself long programs for the night to maximize the 3D printers' battery life and thus find the prints ready to be processed in the morning.
Optimizing the printing, preparation and cleaning phases gives us a great advantage in the subsequent painting phase. I remind you of our range of solvent-based acrylic paints "TA Colors".
Painting is my favorite part of the whole model making process.
We move on to the final assembly, the application of the decals to conclude the production process with the boxing of the model.
So, to answer the initial question of this article, my answer is: absolutely yes! The important thing is to study the organizational phase in detail before starting all the work.
I leave you some shots of the small series I produced.
